I liked the original design but I put my phone screen down on surfaces all the time and the case was not deep enough to keep the screen from being on the surface. I modified this to extend the lip around the surface side enough that the case, not the phone screen, is on a surface when the phone is placed screen down. I have included a picture of almost edge on showing the lip of the case over the phone's screen.
