Track Helix

Track Helix (Gleiswendel) developed & currently in the making for H0 scale tracks.

Building for M-tracks but should also work for C-tracks.

the stl provided build a 2.5 lap helix starting height at 9.4mm, ending hight 5.4mm below 250mm height with 4.15% inclination on the R1 track, 3.4% inclination on the outer R2 track.

The scad file allows to modify the total target height, start height, end height as well as the number of laps. Elements for print need to be activated separately for get stl export.

--> make sure you're not getting an elephant foot on printing as the parts will not or not nicely fit together.

--> test the fitting of the parts before printing, settings described below worked for me after a few trials.
