Zum Modell
To make the “recycled” trailer, I reused six of the thirteen practice parts: Big Rim, Channel Slot, Hitch Pivot (2), Pin Channel, Plate Challenge, and Trap Block (3). Big Rim – I used the Big Rim to create the connection between the tire covers and the main bed of the trailer. I had to rescale the part and remove the angles on the inside of the rim. Channel Slot – The channel slot was used as extra support on the trailer. I used it to connect the second brace with the main brace. To make the part fit, I rescaled the slot and cut the part in half. Hitch Pivot (2) – To connect the gate to the main bed’s railing. I used the hitch pivot. I connected the hitch pivot to a circular extrude on the side using the whole. For the hitch pivot part, all I had to do was use the second configuration and rescale it. Pin Channel – This part was used to hold the axle in place with the supports. All the modifications I did to this part includes removing an extruded cut onto the right plane. I also had to rescale the part. Plate Challenge – The pin challenge was used as a tire. All that needed to change was the outline of the outermost layer. I made it a bit thicker, to resemble a tire tread. Then, I modified the middle component to give it 6 holes for lug nuts. Then, I rescaled the part. Trap Block (3) – I used the trap block as a CV Joint between the wheel and axle. I modified this part by adding the ¼ of it cut off, and repatterning it to make it symmetrical. I also rescaled the part. I had to create new parts to complete the build. These parts include: the Axle, Brace, Flatbed, Gate, Second Brace, Supports, and Tire Covers. The axle was used to connect the pairs of wheels. The supports were used to connect the axle to the trailer. The supports were the main piece in this assembly. The brace was used to hold the trailer’s length, whilst the second brace was used to cover the trailer’s width. The Flatbed was connected to the first brace, and holds the tire covers and gate.
