I made a trampoline to test multi-material printing and to see if it bounces better when printed entirely with PLA or if the top is printed with TPU. Neither option bounces very well, but between PLA and TPU, TPU performs better. This was done purely for testing purposes. Supports are required.
For printing with PLA:
Print speed: 80 mm/s
Nozzle temperature: 200 °C
Bed temperature: 60 °C
For printing the top with TPU:
I first printed the top, then paused the print, switched the filament to PLA, and resumed printing from where I left off. This step was necessary because the printer I use only has a single extruder.
Print speed: 20 mm/s
Nozzle temperature: 220 °C
Bed temperature: 60 °C
The rest of the printer settings are the same as those used for PLA printing.
