Transformers Powermaster Optimus Prime Engine

This is a non-transforming replacement for G1 Powermaster Optimus Prime's Powermaster Hi-Q figure. It slots in to the Powermaster slot firmly and will release the figure's legs to transform to robot mode just like the original.

It comes in two parts so you can print in color or paint as desired. Slot the two parts together and use some super glue for a nice permanent fit!

Since it's all one piece, it doesn't have the slight "give" on the sides that the original does to get it in and out, so it may be a little tight. I added some chamfered edges to the slots to help with that, and the slots are a lot bigger than the tabs, so there should be enough gap to pry it out if needed. I got my prototype in and out with little issue.

The engine block is flatter than the original. You can always stretch it out if you want it closer to the original proportions, but you may wish to trim the piece that slots into the base a bit if you do, so that it still has clearance for the tab the figure
