Test print object to test transparency of a particular plastic being printed. Does this by forming a 0.2mm thick window. The window is surrounded by a hoop and some towers(decorative).
Print setup:
* Printrbot Simple Metal
* Printrbot heated bed
* 0.06" PEI sheet double sided taped to heated bed
* aluminum patches in probe points to allow induction probe probe the bed
* fan shroud (uneven airflow, unfortunately)
* air provided via CPAP machine set at 4.0 mbar of mercury
* sliced using Simplyfy3D:
* * 25% infill
* * 0.1mm layer height
* * brim/skirt of 6 loops, 2 layers, attached to edge of print
* * 0.5mm nozzle with 0.6mm extrusion width
* * 195C hot end temp
* * 60mm/sec max speed setting
* * 90C heated bed temp ( 60-70C measured surface temp )
* Radio shack opaque "red"(read: orange) PLA filament.
