Trash can pedal

I wanted to convert a normal trashcan to a pedal trashcan, so I made these parts which are basically based on this guy's design: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qTBGR5gWLfE

You can print how many loop hooks you need, depending on the form of your trashcan. I used 4 because this one had 4 corners.

Extra things needed: 3 screws + washers for the pedal hinge part that will get attached to the bin, 1 self tapping screw for the hinge that's attached to the cap, and 1 self tapping screw for each loop hook, and some rope.

Getting the exact point of of the hinge and the exact spot where to put the lever took some practice, but it was worth it!

EDIT: 5 years later, it still works, the only thing that broke was the rope, i replaced it once.
