Trashcan Bumper

Trashcan bumper! The lid for my garbage can would grind on my wall every time it was too close when opening… causing the wall to get eaten up. Now I have a bumper to keep the garbage can far enough away so the lid clears the wall when opened. With the TPU the top has enough give and softness to not mar the wall when it makes contact with the wall. The height of the bumper when assembled is 5cm, this was enough to clear the lid for my trashcan. I included multiple plates so you can choose what base works best for you. I have a blank base, if your trashcan is not magnetic you can attach it using double sided tape or 3M Command Strips. There is also an option for 10*3 circular magnets, and an option for 40*10*3 rectangular magnets. I assembled the parts using CA glue. I recommend using 2 bumpers, one towards the top and one towards the bottom. That way you don't have the trashcan tipping around a fulcrum point.
