Travel Quarto (Magnetized)

This is a smallish (140mm x 140mm x 34mm) travel sized version of Quarto. Quarto is a simple fast paced game to play. It is easy to learn but has a surprising depth of strategy. Players can learn the rules in less than two minutes and experienced players have enjoyed the game hundreds of times. The average game is less than 10 minutes. The game board is the lid of the storage box. It is held in place by friction but there are also a space for a double stack of 6x2 magnets placed at the center. It holds together pretty well even when traveling.

The game pieces are designed to have small 3x2 magnets inserted in the center, and each board space is designed as a cap with a magnet sitting snugly in between the cap and the board. When assembled, the magnets provide sufficient pull to keep your game from being disrupted if accidentally bumped or shifted.
