Main/lower chassis for the Traxxas SRT.
The original chassis was composed of fiberglass plates (G10 / FR4). This design is very rigid when combined with the battery box/chassis supports and upper deck, despite the thinner plates (~2 mm) for the upper and lower chassis. You could theoretically play around with different options without a lot of compromise in performance (e.g., aluminum lower chassis with fiberglass upper or modifying the battery box supports to allow for more flex).
This is modeled/based on an unused OEM chassis set. Modifications would be required for this to work with Rustler parts. The transmission housing is different between the two with the SRT using separate rear arm mounts.
There are also many great options available from vintage reproduction suppliers (ex.: Factory Works, Bezerk) for reasonable prices if you do not feel up to the challenge of cutting FR4/G10 fiberglass or carbon fiber plate. I would highly recommend Factory Works for those located in the U
