I bought the Toorx TRX-2000 treadmill—it's a solid machine with a brushless motor and thick deck, but... I have no idea what the designer was thinking by putting wheels on the front feet instead of stable pads. Assuming a treadmill with wheels up front (where all the mass shifts back and forth during cushioning) won't slide around the room is as sensible as assuming a car with front wheels welded to the frame will drive great. Since it seems durable (I've worn out a few treadmills in my time), I decided to give it a chance and fix the designer's oversight.I designed front feet that slot under the wheels and rear skids (under the feet) for full stability. The whole setup works great—even during intense intervals, the treadmill stays put.For rock-solid hold, I printed the feet with TPU pads (the main body in PETG, but any standard filament will do).
