Hook guards to stop tangling of lures in the tackle box.
I wasn't happy with how other designs tended to just fall off the hook due to gravity.
Unlike those that slide on from the bottom, gravity (and the lure body) helps hold these on!
Update v10: added some retention nubs so that they couldn't fall off over time. I also flipped the model so that it no longer needs flipped in the slicer.
#----Hook size Scaling----
Below are the scale sizes for hooks in my tacklebox. I noted the hook size where known.
To scale for your hook use the following method.
1)Use calipers to measure the hook "tip to tip" distance in mm (can't be bent hooks)
2) Then use this formula where X = the hook tip to tip distance in mm. (12.5mm was the tip to tip distance on the #8 hook I sized it to for 100%)
(X/12.5)*100 = Scale%
hook size #14 -- xSmall=72%
hook size #8 -- small=100%
hook size #6 -- med=120%
hook size #?? -- large=148%
