This is a replacement basket for "Outdoor Products" brand trekking poles. These can be purchased for a reasonable cost, but I wanted to try my hand at writing my own simple thread generation in OpenSCAD.

The pole this was designed for had roughly 0.4mm per thread.
You should measure your thread pitch and regenerate the STL if necessary.

This can be printed without supports ONLY if your printer does well with overhangs.
I used PETG which seemed less rigid than PLA. The original part was semi-flexible.
