We retrofitted an existing Leica UC7 with high-resolution encoders mounted directly into the adjustment knobs. Trimothee system provide users with a real-time digital readout on a touchscreen display enabling feedback for precise sub-degree movements that exceed the physical graduation limits of standard manual scales, capturing sufficient granularity required for Crosshair’s computational outputs. This low-cost, low-complexity solution ensures enhanced trimming without the need for fully motorized systems, and only adapting existing components.
