Tripod Coin Holder

Do you own a camera and one or more tripods? Have you ever been in a situation where you aren't able to securely attach the tripod plate to the camera, or even to remove the plate, all because you didn't have a coin on you at that moment? If so, then this coin holder solves that problem by letting you store a coin with your tripod so that it is always available.

There is a hole in the holder where you can install a small magnet, especially useful to hold coins that are magnetic (not that common, but you can also just use a large washer in place of the coin if needed). To remove the coin, simply press down on one side to tip the coin out of the holder. It should be clipped to the back of the tripod leg so that it doesn't get dislodged too easily (see photo).

This holder is sized to fit the tripod and coin I had on hand. I found that a Chinese Yuan I had was magnetic (and no, I'm not from China). You may need to edit to fit your tripod leg and coin size.
