I have a tripod platform on my camera on a permanent basis and when it became necessary to put other equipment on the tripod, the question arose of not wanting to move the only platform that I had already quite firmly secured.
Therefore, I decided to develop the same spare platform.

I made 2 versions with a recess for a piece of rubber and without a recess. I also made a template so as not to bother with cutting.
