This is a tripod stabilizer bracket. This model is a remix from @teracor's Tripod adjusting-screw mounting for Bresser Pollux's EQ3 mount.
The aluminium frame top part can wobble if the tripod is not fully extended, this 3D printed bracket helps stabilize.
