Tripod Tilt Handle

A friend gave me an old Vanguard tripod that he somehow, looses its tilt handle.
I found some models on Internet to print a new one, but none satisfied me. So I decided to model one myself using FreeCAD.
It consists on the handle itself, a screw thread bar, 2 nuts, a washer and a nut cover that functions also as an extension for the handhe the way I can position it close to the tripod legs for compact it to transport.
The triangular shape also gives a nice feeling on it.
I printed the handle and the cover using PLA.
So I mounted the screw thread bar, on it with the two nuts.
The cover was too tight to the nut, so I heated it up a little bit and pressed it to perfectly fit on it,
Then placed the washer, cut the exceeded screw, filed it a little to make it look fine then it worked perfectly as the new handle.
I am sharing the FreeCAD file here too, so you can modify it yourself if you want, so it can better satisfy your needs if you need a new tilt handle for a tripod.
