Tripod Top Piece

This is my tripod top piece, which i designed to replace the broken one on my camera tripod. It could be used to create a new tripod as well, therefore you´ll need a pipe with a diameter of 22mm and a tripod thread as well as compatible legs. You can check the dimensions of the legs in the picture above or in the .step file below. It features a thumbscrew for securing the middle pipe and an additional setscrew to prevent the pipe from slamming down unbraked. Both of them use a printed part to keep the middle pipe unscratched. Feel free to customize the .step file and publish your remix on Thingiverse, just tag it as remix ;).

Parts and Tools needed:
• M3 Tap
• M6 Tap
• M6 Setscrew (8-12mm long)
• M6 Thumbscrew (mine has a threaded lenght of 18mm)
• M5 Screws to mount the legs (depending on your choice of legs)

Assembly:
1. Cut an M3 threat into the inner part of the main body
2. Cut an M6 threat in the two holes on the outside of the main body
