Triumph Spitfire Headlight Switch Retainer

This part is intended to fit behind the main headlight switch on Triumph Spitfire MK IV and 1500 models, it may also fit other vehicles that share the same headlight switch. The original part number is UKC4380 but it does not now appear to be available new.

It is not a identical replica of the original but has been designed to fit and do the same job as the original. The part is intended to stop the main headlight switch coming out of its hole in the dashboard by fitting over the switch behind the dashboard. I suspect many owners of Triumph Spitfires are unaware that there is meant to be a retainer on the headlight switch and rely on the friction of the switch on the hole in the dash to stop it falling out.

The original item was made in what looks like nylon this replica has been printed in PLA but PETG may be a better choice.

The retainer needs to be eased apart to fit over the switch but once fitted is a nice fit on the switch.
