Truck Bed Hook

While unloading my truck bed from a recent trip, it was pointed out that some form of hook on a pole to pull objects located towards the cab and out of reach from the tailgate would make the job easier. I couldn't agree more!

This was (very) roughly designed to fit a 1-1/8" (27.5 mm) diameter wooden dowel rod. My original intention was to include a hole for a wood screw to secure it, but the first test print fit so tightly that it wasn't going to come off without VERY significant effort, YMMV. In my tests at home, with no screws or glue, this holds up a 30lb (13.6 kg) container of cat litter.

The photos of the printed part are of the prototype to ensure it fit the dowel rod, I had no idea it would fit so well and support as much weight straightaway!
