Trunnion Table

A machine tool’s versatility is a valuable asset for specialty machine shops. One option to improve upon a machine’s capabilities is to add a Trunnion table. The 22.5in by 17.5in Trunnion table that I have designed can contribute efficient setup timing which eventually lead to a good production level. Most of the parts which need multiple operations can be done on the Trunnion table using locating pins to locate the zero points. Machinists just have to clamp the parts on the Trunnion table and press the run button. This explains how efficient is a Trunnion table.
