TrussFab Chair

TrussFab Bottle Chair is made of 36 recycled refillable bottles and 8 3D printed connector hubs.

The chair is built from the combination of 0.5l and 1l bottle edges (14 small_small, 2 big_small, and 2 big_big) which are combined by their bottom with tape or screw. The individual bottle size is not very important but the ratio between the small and a big bottle-lengths should be roughly 1:1.3. If you use soft bottles, you can inflate them to achieve better stability. In this case their bottom needs to be taped together, not screwd. According the type of the bottle you are using you will need the corresponding connecting cuffs (refillable or non-refillable). To help assembling the structure, there are imprinted ID on the hubs. All what you have to do is to match the numbers, for example: connector 2.5a goes to connector 5.2a, etc. The letters are indicating the size of the bottle edge
