TTC450 Dust Boot

This is a dust boot attachment I made for my TwoTrees TTC450 CNC router. It is made for the 52mm 500 watt spindle.

This design allows the brush to remains in contact with the work surface at all times by sliding on a tube attached to the boot housing.

The brush fits into the groove in the brush holder and secured with thin CA Glue.
All 3D printed parts are assembled with CA glue. The only part that is not glued is the brush holder. It is also removable when needed to change the bit or for whatever reason by simply raising the router.
I used a 5mm threaded insert and a 5mm flat head screw in the knob assembly and a 5mm threaded insert in the housing to secure the knob assembly to the body.

The original brush bristle length was too long. I shortened the bristle length to 25mm to fit my CNC.

This dust boot design can be easily modified to accommodate other machines or vacuum hose
