Tube Mount Cleat

This is a cleat that can be hose clamped onto a rounded surface, I used a bunch of these on stainless steel 1 inch diameter tubing on my sailboat in order to cleat off dyneema rope to lock off my solar panels which were mounted on a windsurfer mast base which allowed me to articulate it towards the sun. I printed them in PLA and they have lasted a year so far in indirect sunlight as far south as the Bahamas. I did break two because I hit the panel on a wall and it broke the cleat before the rope which is dyneema and very strong, overall I have found they are pretty strong and held up well. You can even mount multiple with one hose clamp as seen in my image. They have held the solar panel in place in storms up to 45 knots!
