Turkey Leg Cup

A couple months I decided instead of drinking out of a boring mug everyday I would find at least one outrageous and themed mug for the major holiday in each month. For November I wanted something Thanksgiving themed, and couldn’t find anything that I felt was over-the-top enough, so I decided to make my own!

For ease I settled on 3d printing and painting the body. Then adding an insert that was food safe and watertight. I’ve got to say I’m more than pleased with the results! That said, while functional, it is definitely not optimized for containing hot liquids like coffee optimally. Apparently my Keurig heats water up to around 190 freedom degrees. Plenty warm enough to deform the pla. There’s enough plastic to resist disfigurement while in use though.
