This Benchy with a turret is printed entirely as a print-in-place model and is fully movable straight off the print bed – perfect as a tolerance test for your printer A big thank you to the original creator of the 3DBenchy! Check out the original model here:https://makerworld.com/en/models/1272656-original-3dbenchy-public-domain-cad-step-file#profileId-1336828 🛠️ Tolerance Information🔧 Gap between parts:The clearance between the rotating element and the Benchy is 0.26 mm. 📏 Typical spacing for Print-in-Place models:I usually design with a gap of 0.2 mm to 0.26 mm between moving parts. This spacing ensures the components can rotate and move freely after printing, without needing post-processing. ⚙️ Why this spacing?Over time, I’ve adopted this range because I mostly use the default slicer settings! and it consistently works well for me. 😄 </f
