🐢 3D Printed Turtle Coaster
A fun 3D printed coaster with a simple moving feature.
Place a mug or glass on the shell and the turtle’s head, legs and tail lift up together. Remove the mug and it returns back down again. No electronics or complicated parts — just a bit of built-in mechanical movement.
🔧 Details
Multi-part 3D printed design
Head, tail and all four legs move together
Works using the weight of the parts (spring optional, usually not required)
Central space allows a small spring to be added if using lighter materials
Twist-lock style shell keeps everything together when lifted
Parts can be removed if needed
⚠️ Assembly note:
Place the shell on first, then insert the limbs, head and tail.
🎨 Custom Options
Optional shell pattern insert
Two head versions (integrated eyes or separate glue-on eyes)
Choice of colours
☕ Use
Ideal for desks, coffee tables, or just something a bit different.
Suitable for standard mugs and cups.
