A noise suppressor for my turtle tank. Because of the piggyback filter I use, the water being filtered drops a few inches before it hits the water. This makes a lot of noise. The suppressor catches the waterfall and eases it into the water in the tank, greatly reducing the noise and splashing.
To install, I just drilled 4mm holes in the skirt of the water filter and used stainless steel 4mm cap-head screws with a nut on the back.
Filter is an Aqua-Tech 20-40 piggyback filter.
