TUSH Base (Hatchbox)

This is a simple base design to keep your TUSH spool holders stationary (designed for Hatchbox 1.75mm filament spools). This print prevents you from needing super glue to keep all the pieces together and stops shifting/falling.

There is a .25mm clearance on all the sides of the TUSH spool holders if you printed the original model without scaling.This will allow it to still fit nicely with most small imperfections from your printer.


Design evolution notes:
The original was rectangle and solid. I was having adhesion issues on the bed (the corners were curling probably due to shrinkage from cooling). This issue led me to cutting off the corners and ending up with the current abnormal octagon shape. I also removed the center but left a support beam to save material and cut an hour off print time, while still remaining durable and unable to be bent/flexed.
