TV Light Blocking Shade

This may be a little bit of a niche item, but perhaps it will be useful to someone else or inspire them to make one that will suit their specific needs. I have a 22" Samsung TV which is on an articulating arm in the opening between the dining room and the kitchen. I can swing it around and watch it in either location. But if I'm in the dining room and the light is on in the kitchen then the light makes it uncomfortable to view the TV. So the purpose of this is to sit atop the TV and block the light. The photos are of a draft immediately prior to the one attached. The attached is meant to print two and for them to be side-by-side blocking the light. It also scoots down the light blocker to eliminate the gap between the two. I hope there will be someone out there who finds this useful.
