Well, this is a clip you put on a *2 x 4mm* cable that should help you store the cable without it separating or flailing in storage. You can easily slide it along the cable and it should work well. It was designed for *Adam Hall K3TPP0600*, the inner diameter is twice 4,5mm and its primitive enough to be scaled to desired size.
Unfortunately, **it has to be slid on** from an open end. I was putting an XLR connector in the middle to have it extendable so I had no issue with that.
