This is an acrylic model of a steam engine that uses two eccentrics at an angle to each other to create the necessary relationship between the piston and valve movements. It is made from laser-cut acrylic. It should be possible to make using an ordinary desktop laser cutter able to cut 1/8" (3mm) acrylic. Photos and videos can be seen at http://mechanicalgifs.com
