Two Simple Hexomino Puzzles

Two simple hexomino puzzles designed to be easily solved, meant as an introduction to hexominos for beginners. Often the last piece fits into a reverse image of itself in a satisfying way. A few aspects of symmetry might also become apparent.

Two 5x5 arrays of squares are to be covered, "tiled", with 4 hexominos and a single square. The first array, "target 1", contains 13 square holes any of which can accept the single square piece. The four hexominos are then to be placed so as to tile the remaining 24 squares. It matters not which square was filled by the single piece, the squares can always be tiled by the four hexominos.

The second 5x5 array of squares, a complement, "target 2", contains 12 holes. Again any hole can accept the single square piece and a second set of 4 hexominos can always tile the remaining space.

While there are 25 different holes that accept the single square there are only 6 different puzzles because of the symmetry of a 5x5 array of squares.
