uBITX Mini Microphone

Modified to accept a stereo mini phone jack instead of wired-in cable.

This is a microphone made for the uBITX QRP radio. This design uses the original hardware provided in the kit. You will only need a wire with a 3.5mm stereo jack which can be purchased in most 99c stores and 5x #4 machine screws (Or you could also use M3 screws). As long as the screws are about 8-10mm long they should be fine. This microphone is smaller than regular microphones and it was done on purpose. I have found that due to it's size, it tends to be fairly comfortable to be held in the hand as well as to push the PTT button. The wire clamp allows you to clamp the incoming wire in order for it not to break the wires of the microphone if pulled. Best of luck and 73.
