A simple open backplate design for ClockWorkPi uConsole to adapt to
1) open active cooler for Compute Module 5
2) detachable back cover to access the battery compartment so that we can easily access the back components
This has 2 parts.
1) Backplate that can be 3D printed, laser cut or CNC aluminium.
2) 3D printed back cover with grooves to attach 2 x 20mm x 5mm [magnets](https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005010074879416.html).
The cover can then be attached to the backplate using [metal strips](https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005009658152348.html).
I have test printed cover in SLA and 3201PA-F Nylon - at [JCLPCB] (https://www.jlcpcb.com) .
Both works well, but given the heat deflection (50+ deg), when the CM5 runs hot, Nylon (180+ deg) is more suitable.
I have chosen to cut the backplate with 2mm Aluminium as i have found it structurally stronger better for heat dissipation than SLA.
