Udu drum

Udu drum works by principle of Helmholtz resonator. This one is tuned to around 40hz. I have printed it as shell and poured polyester resin to thicken shell and make it harder. The harder the inside surface the more attack and high frequency content you will get. Another important part of instrument is mouth and surface that is played on - I also recommend covering it in hard resin to brighten the attack.
