Ukulele Stand

All of my roommates at school are musicians and we have plenty of instruments in our house, including a ukulele. The current stand we have looks like the top picture featured on the right where there are no sides that could prevent it from tipping over. My design features a wrap-around bar that will hug the body of the ukulele to prevent any tipping of the instrument off of the stand. The stand is built in an A-framed shape with two supporting legs that lay parallel with the ground. The base of the body will sit comfortably in the splined tubed base and will be hugged at the waist.
