ULA Internal Support Bracket

The Ultem 9085 bracket was modeled in Solidworks 2014 on October 13, 2016. It was modeled in three parts and then combined as a single part. The bracket fits within the part design envelope provided by ULA and included in the Grabcad challenge (see ULA SPT BRKT.pdf). There are no wall thickness less than 0.04”. The model is designed to minimize support material volume and post printing support material removal. Bracket supports a load of 600 lbf applied uniformly in the negative Z direction with the mounting holes fixed (see ULA SPT BRKT-Simulation Xpress Study-1.docx).
