These brackets allow you to mount a plastic screen to the front of you Ultimaker 3 to function as a thermal shield when printing difficult materials such as ABS or ASA. Just print 2 of these parts, buy a 12" wide clear polycarbonate sheet, cut it to the desired height (depending on if you have the standard Ultimaker 3 or the Extended version), notch the top corners (1" x 1.5") to miss the screws in the face of the printer, drill 4 holes at the top of the screen to mount the brackets flush, and then fasten it all together. The screen will slip right over the front of the printer and fit snugly to keep the temperature inside the printer stable.
