I had exactly the same problem as @CdRsKuLL and it's taken me 5 years to do something about it! I have never really liked the way the dial on the UM2 works plus the fact that it used to get stuck. I got around it by pulling it out a bit every few weeks.
MY UM2 has many many upgrades but the dial seems to have been neglected!
Finally I have fixed the problem and also had the opportunity to make use of the Fuzzy Skin option in Cura which gives it a really nice texture to the dial.
I remixed to get rid of the dimples and to add an extra lump. I also added a longer core through the middle to make it stronger and mean you can get away with thin walls and no support.
I printed at 0.15mm with 0.4 nozzle and 0.8mm walls, top and bottom. 0 infill in white PLA. 210 degrees. Ironing on.
I've included the gcode for UM2 Marlin
