I created this thing in the hope to cool down our heated bed a bit faster after printing.

**Update:** I did a real scientific experiment (n=1) and found that the printbed cools down from 70 to 30 degrees in 7 minutes. Without the fan this takes 26 minutes!!!

This was probably the fastest project from idea to finished that I have every done. I imagined, designed, sourced parts, soldered the wiring all while my printer was busy printing another job(1h30). The 3d brackets to connect everything together worked surprisingly well for a first try. Project finished within 2 hours!
