This is a window frame that can be used if you are printing the “buckets with windows version” of Ultimate Spool Filament Enclosure for the AMS by Supergrapher. I wanted a way I could secure a bent .093 thick polycarbonate panel to the buckets, so I designed a printable frame that holds the poly and can be glued to the exterior of the filament bucket. This will provide a clear view of the color and status of the filament roll. I tried a couple of different techniques to heat and bend the poly. I found the easy way was to use a heat gun and a chunk of wood cut to the proper diameter (used the printed bucket to draw a line to cut the wood). It takes about 3-4 minutes for the poly to get hot enough to slump into the mold. Be careful it will need to be about 300-350 degree Fahrenheit. Once cool the poly can be glued into the frame and the frame glued to the bucket. I did a messy job of this on the 1st one, but got it done and clamped it into place to dry. I used a medium thick superglue.
