This is collection of 6 ulu knives. The Alaskan ulu knife is an extremely versatile cutting tool crafted by the Native Alaskan people over five thousand years ago. The knife was primarily used for skinning and cleaning fish and has played an important role in the survival of the Arctic people.

I separated the collection into individual ulu knives. The names are based on the catalog “Dancing Man Knives and Ulus – Specializing in traditional Knives and Ulus” by Manard Linder of Homer, Alaska.
