When I'm studying I like to underline important parts in printed texts and handwritten notes. As I may want to erase my markings in the future I usually use a (mechanical) pencil. Underlining by hand will get messy, using a regular ruler will only allow straight lines. However I wanted different shapes to be able to tell my markings apart. So here's my solution.

The ruler allows you to underline with a straight line, in triangular and round shape with 15 cm in length. Also you can make dashed and dashed-dotted lines.
