New Version out
Twin-Hulled 2/3rds scale version uploaded. Hoping to try it out later. Wings are simpler, closer to centre plane. Fuselage is twinned.
From before....
I made another mini one, this time with a much thinner shell. This should have the lowest negative buoyancy yet! Fingers cross it works. It is the "even_smaller_Rev1" and ".3mf" file.
And before that...
I screwed up where I have the centre of mass vs. the wing. I made a second wing, but it's still not working as it should. Also, the 2.5 deg of tail pitch is way too much.
Had so much fun playing with the torpedo toy I made (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6134697 ), that I decided to make an underwater glider.
I noticed at the end of the torpedo trajectory, that one of the designs would glide further than the others. I decided to play around some more with slightly-negative buoyancy stuff. It's on the print bed now, but it should be pretty fun.
Like the torpedo, it is designed to be used flooded with wa
