I have a handful of spare Unifi AP's which aren't being used as I dont have a suitable place to ceiling mount them…and whilst I have some Inwall APs doing what's needed, I wanted to put some of my spare AP's to use for some extra coverage….and as I have some unused ethernet wall sockets, I wanted to create something to work well with them. I've removed the usual tab that allows release of the AP…as it's not really needed in this orientation anyway and having to grab a tool to remove these has always been a bit of a PITA so thought why not get rid of it altogether.This mount is friction based so it is a little tight, but this is by design. These mounts are based on screw spacing for UK sockets so possibly wont work in other countries and you will more than likely require longer socket screws, (I've used 50mm screws which are perfect)I've also used some incredibly short Cat6A cables to keep things tidy..these specifc ones were the only ones I could find of
