Hey makers!I realized I’ve got tons of mounts for my action cameras—monopods, extension arms, you name it—but nothing to actually attach them to on my desk. So, I designed and printed this sturdy base out of PETG plastic. Now I can pop in a monopod and mount either a camera or a light on top—and even attach a second one from underneath, with full 360° rotation. It’s a simple solution that frees up my hands and keeps my shots stable, whether I’m filming or taking photos. If you’re into content creation and want a flexible desktop rig, this one’s for you. Assembly:To build it, I used a small amount of glue to fix the cylindrical part securely to the bolt. During the final assembly of the base itself, I also added some wooden skewers (or dowels) with glue to reinforce the structure and make it extra sturdy. It’s a quick and simple process, and the result is rock solid!
