Universal Spool Holder

This universal spool mount should fit most 1kg (2.2 lbs) 3d printing filament spools.
You need to print two of these; one for each side.
A 5mm threaded rod would go thru the center of the filament spool which you can suspend or mount.

I used 2 cardboard boxes and 6 binder clips to as a support. (see photos for setup)
Spool rolls without friction so I have no filament drag now.
