UNSC ARMIDALE

The UNSC Armidale was an earlier frigate design. The Armadale was designed and constructed at the Osborne Naval Shipyards south Australia. Unfortunately for the Armidale the main guns positioned on the port and starboard sides when fired caused cracking to surrounding main structure which could render the ship defenceless in battle. Although small in size the Armidale at 390m long could hold her own in fleet engagements. (This is not a Halo ship but mores of my addition to the collection).

For armaments the Armidale class supported standard Stalwart compliment of weapons with the addition of its up scaled side guns. these cannons assist in its role of fleet support and ground support but as in the description posted the guns cause to much stress on the hull of the ship which leads to cracking of the hull and fracturing of the supports in the ship.

The Arimidale has had its marine compliment cut in half with the addition of the main guns. A work around was made by takeing the tw
